Dr. Danny Vesprini is a Radiation Oncologist who treats both prostate and breast cancer at the Sunnybrook Odette Cancer Centre in Toronto, an Affiliate Scientist in the Biological Sciences at the Sunnybrook Research Institute, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Toronto. Dr Vesprini’s research includes a focus on the genetic predisposition for aggressive prostate cancer.

He is one of the Principal Investigators of the Sunnybrook Active Surveillance Program, Director of the Male Oncology Research and Education (MORE) program which focusses on men at increased risk of developing prostate cancer including men of Caribbean/Western African Ancestry, the lead clinician and investigator focused on integrating novel radiotherapy technologies such as the MRI-Linear Accelerator as well as principle investigator of several ongoing clinical trials.
