Reflecting on the Journey to Prostate Cancer Awareness
On October 19th, 2024, the Walnut Foundation hosted its annual conference, “Why Are Black Men Disproportionately Affected by Prostate Cancer?”, at the Movember Canadian Headquarters, 588 Richmond Street West, Toronto, with an option to join online via Zoom.
This impactful event brought together experts, patients, and advocates to address the pressing challenges of prostate cancer diagnosis and early detection, particularly within Black communities. The discussions were powerful, insightful, and deeply moving, offering attendees practical knowledge and inspiration for action.
